COVID-19 Customer Support Program

Benton REA’s PowerNET has been working with our customers who are financially impacted by COVID-19, and will continue to do so as we work together to get through these challenging times.

In the early stages of the COVID-19 pandemic in our area, we made the decision to waive late fees and suspend disconnections for nonpayment to help members impacted by the pandemic. Later, the Governor of Washington issued a proclamation to mandate the suspension of disconnection of utilities, including telecommunication companies, for nonpayment and to waive late fees, which is currently set to expire October 15, 2020.

PowerNET will continue to work with our customers throughout this pandemic and beyond.

PowerNET is actively reaching out to customers who have past due balances to ensure they are aware of these COVID-19 customer support programs. Please contact Benton REA’s PowerNET at 509-786-4004 if you have any questions or would like to discuss your options during this challenging times.

Payment Options

PowerNET customers have all the payment options of Benton REA members including in person at one of our offices, by phone, by mail, by automatic deduction or online.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and until further notice, the Benton REA and PowerNET offices are close to the public. All other payment options are still available.
