Ronald is the middle son of Col. Charles E. Hall, a decorated military officer who served in WWII, Korea, and Vietnam. Growing up in a military family, Ronald learned the importance of setting and completing goals, as well as the value of discipline and responsibility. His summers were spent working in the family orchards with his Uncle Ronney, where he developed creativity, resourcefulness, and a strong work ethic. These early life experiences shaped Ronald’s ability to adapt, problem-solve, and persevere through challenges.
Ronald earned a BS degree in Agricultural Mechanization from Washington State University, where he worked his way through school, including as an EMT with the WSU Fire Department. After college, he moved to Alaska to operate a new technology for Resource Associates of Alaska, spending four years in the Arctic Circle. He later transitioned to the Frozen Food Manufacturing industry, holding multiple positions with Nestlé and contributing to several innovative projects, including product development and cost-saving initiatives. After a successful career shift to sanitation safety and food manufacturing consulting, Ronald retired and now volunteers with the Benton County Meals on Wheels Program and Columbia Basin Dive Rescue. He is eager to bring his problem-solving and leadership skills to serve District 9.
