Wildfire Mitigation

Benton REA follows its Fire Mitigation Plan during periods of increased risk of wildfires. Reducing the risk of utility-caused wildfire plays an essential role in BREA’s operational practices. Its existing policies, programs, and procedures are intended to directly or indirectly manage or reduce the risk of its utility infrastructure becoming the origin of a catastrophic wildfire.
