NEW: Schedule Payments in SmartHub

Members who use Benton REA’s SmartHub to pay their electric and internet bills can now schedule payments for a later date. This added feature gives members more flexibility and convenience. To schedule a payment, follow these steps.

Schedule A Payment on the SmartHub Website

  1. Create a SmartHub account, or login by visiting BentonREA.org and clicking Pay My Bill.
  2. Under the Billing & Payments tab, click Billing & Payments. Select the account(s) you want to pay. Type the amount you are paying under Make A Payment. Then click Pay Now.
  3. Confirm the amount you are paying is correct. Then click Continue.
  4. Select the Payment Date. Choose Today, Due Date or Other, then click Continue. If you select a date after the 20th of the current month, you will see a warning that the payment date elected is past the due date.
  5. Complete the details of your payment method, then click Continue.
  6. If the information on the confirmation page is correct, click Submit. Your payment will be paid or scheduled based on your selections. You will see a payment confirmation screen and receive a confirmation email.

Schedule A Payment on the SmartHub App

  1. Download the SmartHub app on your mobile device, then create or login to your SmartHub account.
  2. Under Bill & Pay, select Make a Payment.
  3. Select the account(s) you want to schedule payments for and click Pay.
  4. Select the amount you are paying and the date you want to schedule the payment. If you select a date after the 20th of the current month, you will see a warning that the payment date selected is past the due date.
  5. Input your payment information in the secure app. You can save your payment information for future use.
  6. Review and confirm your scheduled payment. You will see a payment confirmation screen and receive a confirmation email.

Billing History and Use Trends

In SmartHub, you can see your current bill and previous bills. You can see how your use is trending over time, which will allow you to take steps to lower your electricity use and your bill.

Make Fast Payments 

The first time you make a payment either through SmartHub, you will be able to securely store your payment information for future transactions.
The next time you need to pay your bill, it will only take a few clicks.

See important notices with SmartHub. Select how you want to be notified about your accounts, including email and text messaging.

Report Issues

Reporting a service issue or electric outage is a snap with SmartHub. There’s no need to call the office. Just let us know about the issue with a few clicks. You can also contact us through SmartHub for customer service requests or answers to your questions.

Get started by downloading the SmartHub app, or creating a login by going to the home page and clicking Pay My Bill.
