Manager’s Message – December 2019

Dear Members,
Christmas is almost here, and with it comes the newest tech gadgets and toys. Benton REA is proud to not only provide the reliable electricity those new devices need for power, but also the internet connection they need to function.
Benton REA’s PowerNET is a full-service internet provider and network integrator, providing unique, high-quality internet, PC repair, IT support and business consulting services in the Mid-Columbia and Yakima valleys. PowerNET can help you decide on the best computer hardware and software Christmas gifts. For assistance, call 509-786-4004 or check out our services at BentonREA.org/PowerNET.
PowerNET is here for your family and your business, no matter your internet or IT needs. Give our technicians a call before the gifts are unwrapped.

Capital Credit Checks Mailed
Issuing capital credit checks during December has become a favorite holiday tradition at Benton REA. Since formed in 1937, Benton REA has returned $13.8 million to its members!
More than 20,000 current and former Benton REA members will receive checks this month for their 2019 capital credit payment. This year, the board of trustees chose to retire more than $1.8 million of those capital credits to Benton REA members. This is just one of the many benefits of membership in your locally owned and democratically controlled electric cooperative. More information about capital credits can be found here.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
